About the Book

Christopher Andrew Dean has the uncanny ability to record words on the written page to his memory. He has more than once astounded his professors at the University of Chicago, until he meets Professor Berman. The tactless professor has no place in his European History Classes for the likes of Christopher Dean, since his student wants to discuss the impact of Jesus Christ on the world. Christopher wants to discuss how the church changed the religious history of the Holy Land. Professor Berman would have none of that for he did not believe it was true. He sends his student away from his classes when Christopher Andrew insists that Jesus Christ’s influence could be seen across the European continent and Jerusalem. The Holy Land wasn’t affected by Christianity according to the professor. The Muslims and the Crusaders had despoiled it. Professor Berman dismissed his student since he was unable to quiet the young man. This sent Christopher Andrew on a Journey to Jerusalem.

About the Author

Joanna Odom wanted to be an author early in her life but her writing career took a back seat to her Professional Pet Grooming career. During those years, she overcame a learning disability that had stopped her from writing. In the early years of her writing efforts she took a college level creative writing course that gained her three college credits toward a degree in writing. She is the author of two other books, which can be purchased from AuthorHouse. They are “Patrick’s World and Patrick’s Reality,” that are part of a series of three since there is a third installment yet to be published called “Patrick’s Family.” Jesus I Heard You Call was actually the first historical novel written by the author, it was her devout love of Jesus and our Creator that brought the book to life. She hopes that all who read it will relate to Christopher Andrew’s Journey to Jerusalem to meet the first century Rabbi Jesus Christ, the Anointed the Son of God the Living God, who taught us the Father’s Words.
