About the Book

She’s Back!  Lecy McKenzie Pritchett, author of A Ghostly Cry and Ghost Stories, comes roaring back with a new suspense, thriller filled with terror, revenge, mystery, plot twist, and thrills galore.  SideTrack, Enter the Maze of Horror, is her best book by far.  John Pritchett, her husband, came up with the storyline, and they are willing to bet, once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down.

SideTrack is a nightmare story, that begins with seven teenagers out for a night of fun and revenge at a side show carnival.  It is up to one young girl, who life has been cruel too, to fight for the lives of not only herself, but for some who were out to harm her.  Facing an evil that is hard to see, she must play a game of cat and mouse with a madman, who is hell bent on totally destroying them all.  Searching for perfection is the name of his game, and he is willing to find it at all cost.  Entering his maze is easy, leaving his maze is impossible.  Leaving you guessing until the very end, is it real, or is it a dream, climb on for the ride of your life.

Step right up, walk right in, and hang on tight, SideTrack is a whirl wind trip, that will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Be sure and watch out for the wrong turns in this maze, they could just be your last.

Lecy McKenzie Pritchett says enter this maze, if you dare.

About the Author

Lecy McKenzie Pritchett dreamed of being known as an author all her life.  As a little girl, growing up in Bastrop, Louisiana, she would imagine being known for her writing.  Dreams do come true, and now with the release of her third novel in less than a year, she is living hers.

Born the eighth of nine children, she was raised in Bastrop, and attended college in Monroe, Louisiana.  In 1970, she moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, and spent most of her time working in the health care profession.  In 1989, a job offer came from Houston, Texas, in real estate management, and she thought this was going to be her career forever.  Then, in 2001, on her fiftieth birthday, she decided to write again, and this led her down the path she knew she was meant to travel all along.  If she has any regrets, it’s that she waited so long to live her dream.

Married in 1990 to John Pritchett, they are the parents of five.  Living in Katy, Texas now, she is the human resources director at TRW  Modernfold Company, Inc., in Houston, Texas, a job that takes a backseat only to her writing.

Her first novel, A Ghostly Cry, was released in October, 2002, and her second novel, Ghost Stories came in May, 2003.  Now, with SideTrack, her new novel, she feels her dream of being known as an author are finally here.

She is currently in the completion stages of her new book, Soul Survivor:  Surviving the Unseen Terror, which is another spine tingle brought to you by Lecy, so watch for this author, because she has lots more to come.
