About the Book
Where love is scarce, so are happy choices. We must settle for this or that and decide this or that almost as if it doesn’t matter and that we don't have choices. Maybe it’s only because the choices seem so dismal that we get bitter and choose without passion or purpose. If we feel ourselves to be without direction, our choices seem pointless and our very souls wither on the vine. Freedom and truth are neighbors. Freedom knocks on the door of Truth to get the best advice on which way to turn. Truth is not always clear to us. So neither is our purpose. We are free to be true to ourselves or not. But we are free!
About the Author
Bondage To be Free is to be in bondage. To be chained to your past, your essence, your dreams – and to act accordingly with dignity and responsibility – is to know God and free will. Each of us has a purpose, man-made or God-given. However humble or grandiose, however cautious or reckless, however good or evil, however divine or satanic, however seemingly determined or random we strive to beat the odds as less than specks in the universe. We get buffeted about following our unique and surprisingly personal pursuits. Our hopes fall through. Our loved ones perish. Our bodies fall apart. Our dreams can’t be. But with every breath till death we suck in, as infants on a teat, the love-milk of motherhood; or, if there is no love, we die of thirst.
