About the Book

In order to stay in office six more years, Senator Fumbler blamed the current social chaos, global warming, and high price of gasoline on squirrels causing residents of his state to from anti-squirrel groups. Ferrel convinced members of The Committee for the Protection of Neighborhood Resources they would have fifteen seconds of fame by voting to bring the current heart throb Zevy to make a movie in the Community of Abner. A fast-talking salesman shows up to convince the committee to drop the sport of find the nut and replace it with one called baseball. And, Penny and Ferrel Jr. learn their son Sam has the uncanny ability to see the future.

About the Author

Ron Ostlund is a retired mechanical draftsman who enjoyed writing poems and stories during his “working years.” He is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri and attended high school and college there; He and his wife recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. They have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
