MY ENGLISH ROSE Oh my english rose, my english rose How sweet you are to me Like the petals, that grow on the tree Like natures natural beauty Fresh flowering and divine Like natures beauty intended you to be Like the midday sun That warms the sun above Oh my english rose my english rose Nothing I wound change Because you are perfect to me Like the waking of the sunrise And the spurndours of the sunsets Summers gentile warm breeze That makes the heart Glow with more content. Neil started to write poetry late on in his life , to cope with his troubles which he was experiencing at the time and found he enjoyed it so much that he kept on writing and decided to get his work published so others could enjoy his work also.
