About the Book

Simeon is a young whale with important questions. In a touching conversation with his mother, Simeon first asks whether he will live with her forever in the deep blue sea, and then whether she will always love him. Simeon the Whale is a bedtime story about a young mammal who has questions for his mother about unconditional love and what will happen to him as he grows older.

Sonya Wooten is a loving mother and nurse who has devoted her life to nurturing those around her and sending them on their way. Her literary works depict the strong bond she feels for her children and highlight the very personal and fulfilling experience of raising children. Simeon the Whale is her first book.
