About the Book

You’ve met the lost soul. Now meet the one who stayed. In this honest and lyrical follow-up to The Words of the Lost Soul, Rudo Savage offers a quiet revolution — not through dramatic change, but through radical acceptance. This is not a book about fixing yourself. It’s a book about being with yourself. Part poetry, part constructive mindfulness exercises, part permission slip — these pages hold space for what it means to live with a mental illness and still choose softness, presence, and self-compassion. This is the journey of learning to stay. To speak to yourself like someone worth saving. To stop running from your mind and start living with it — gently. Through reflective prompts and poetic truths, this book invites you back into your body, back into your breath, and back into a version of life where you don’t have to earn your peace — only return to it. You are not too much. You are not behind. You are already becoming whole in beautiful pieces.

About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rudo Savage is a mental health advocate, writer and poetic truth-teller whose work explores the raw edges of healing, identity and emotional rebirth. Having walked through the shadows of trauma, emotional dysregulation and self-doubt, she now writes through a place of reclamation - helping others remember their worth, voice and inner fi re. Her debut work, The Words of the Lost Soul, was a deeply personal refl ection of surviving mental illness and fi nding light in fragments. Her writing directly speaks to those who have ever felt silenced, invisible or “too much”, off ering not just understanding but permission to rise. She lives in the UK with her 3 children, is also a registered adult nurse, studies counselling and psychology and loves yoga.
