About the Author
After graduating from university, Richard Sloane roamed the world as a peripatetic English teacher with a couple of years off to do more studying. During this time he honed his skills as a teacher and learned much about the world. After that he returned to the city of his birth, Cambridge, to teach again for the next twenty odd years and write books for students and teachers. However, he was then forced to retire due to medical reasons and since that time he has been writing fiction, something he has enjoyed doing all his life. He has written for all different age groups and this is his 22nd published work.
