Variadero My Ancestral Homeland Do you remember those days when your parents loaded up the car to go on vacation to a very special place. May it be to where Mom or Dad were from or a camp out to the mountains. The anticipation was great, where the excitement would take place. Variadero was that very special place, where one’s imagination runs wild. As a child I would mark the days on a calendar before we’d go on this dream vacation. Tales of Variadero, My Childhood Memories holds a foundation to share with the future generations of this beautiful village. Variadero could be anywhere in the United States. About the Author

Albert Quintana is a retired educator from Adams City High School in Colorado. In 2001 he received the Colorado Teacher of the year award. His experience has taken him to all parts of the world.

In addition he has authored, A Teacher Grows up in Commerce City, No More Green Chili, The Crochet Lady. Today he makes his home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
