About the Book

The protagonists of STORIES FROM THEN AND NOW are, variously male, female and of various racial and ethnic backgrounds, and of, successively, elementary school high school and post-college age, involved in situations to which almost all Americans can relate.. Vol. 11 stories will take place during the 1980 to 2000 years. Whether read alone or as chapters of a book, readers will find the stories interesting enlightening, and often amusing.

About the Author

Phillip Gay received his B.A. in Russian Language and Literature from Case Western Reserve University, and his M. A and Ph.D. degrees in Sociology from Harvard University. While working on his graduate degrees, he taught at Tufts University, Boston University, Lowell University, and the University of California, San Diego. He retired from San Diego State University as chairperson of their Sociology Department and has published works of fiction as well as nonfiction. Phillip was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.
