Missing Pieces Pt. 2 is the sequel to the first project by Marc Mitchell Jr. It takes a deeper dive into the hardships and challenges that Marc faced. In the book, Marc talks about almost dying multiple times. Marc talks about how he is paving a way for not only himself but everyone and it shows how big of a heart he has and shows a little bit of personality. Marc’s courage to display that in not only his 1st book but his second book is superhero-like. Being a student-athlete is very stressful if you are one currently you understand and in this story, you will read about the ugly and the beauty of not only being a student-athlete but being a successful young black man in today's society. About the Author

Marc Mitchell Jr, Born in Indiana, and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. Marc went to Thomas Jefferson Elementary in Hammond, Indiana, and also attended Mohawk elementary in Park Forest. He participated in singing and performing events for the school. He went on to graduate 8th grade at Michelle Obama Middle school (School of the Technology & Arts) in 2016. He participated in a band and also sang and played multiple instruments. He also competed in playing basketball for the 8th-grade team. He didn’t try out for 7th. Marc attended Rich East High School. At Rich east, he had multiple honors awards just like in 7th & 8th grade. He played Basketball all 4 years but was cut his final 2. Marc was a multi-sport athlete. Throughout his 4 years in high school, he played a total of 4 sports. Basketball, Football, tennis, and track. Marc received awards, certification, and medals for all 4 sports. Marc published his first project on February 28th, 2020. He was a 17-year-old senior in high school. Marc has been interviewed on 102.3fm and numerous other radio stations and platforms. He also attended Eastern Illinois University for 1 semester. When Marc came home he went viral. His book touched the world, and his book went into the millions, into the hundreds of thousands, into the thousands, into the hundreds, into a top 10 basketball book in the world. He loved to write about his story, basketball, and things he knows will help people. He has been writing since he was 16. Marc loves music. He makes music in his spare time. Marc has been awarded by businesses and non-profits that he volunteered for years since he was a kid. Giving back to Chicago and his community. Feeding the less fortunate. Putting clothes on the less fortunate. Ever since Marc was a kid he’s done that and so much more. More is to come.
