About the Author

Inspiring young author Breonna is from the city of Chicago, IL born & raised. She won her first book writing contest when she attended Tarkington Elementary on the south side of Chicago. She knew then she loved writing books. Breonna finished high school in 2013 and graduated from Lincoln College with her Associates degree in Arts in 2016. She struggled finding her true passion, so she stuck her hands into multiple things. However, somehow she always knew she had a passion for writing but never really tapped back into it. Until she gave birth to her rainbow baby, her daughter Beauty Queen. When Beauty was born, Breonna started her own Children’s clothing boutique called Leah’s Kloset (everything girly) dedicated to her baby girl. After creating Leah’s Kloset, Breonna decided she wanted to create something else special for her daughter, so she picked up her pen and started back writing again. She wrote her book “My daughter” dedicated to her baby girl, as well as her upcoming book “Misunderstood”. Breonna now writes half her time and manages her boutique Leah’s Kloset the half, while taking care of her beautiful children. Her goal in life is to inspire people in a positive motivational way, leaving behind a legacy for her children. To teach and show young boys and girls they are kings and queens, and most importantly to teach them to love themselves.
