A REVIEW …voice from beyond. I think it was dawn that day, When I glided in, in a shriek cry. My lungs were initiated into action; And I stretched my folded fragile bones As sturdy fingers pestered my fresh coat. I could ’ve sworn it was noon; B’cos the sun was scorchingly radiant: As I scribbled through the hours And slept on gaudy splendoured rose beds Aureated with alcoholic fragrance. At dusk, I woke up Pricked by thorns from my dreamy snooze; Weighed down with responsibilities And tired by events and age, I waded through the minutes. When it was midnight, The blue moon massaged my frailed frame. My slouchy image couldn’t use the stick anymore As I came nearer the last second. With eyelids so heavy, I passed out…

About the Author
‘Vwede Jeff OBAHOR with over 30 years in management, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Benin and an MBA from the University of Sierra Leone with extensive experiences in safety, project management, business development, and product and services marketing. His management experience spans from the advertising industry, through the movie production industry, environment sustainability management, insurance, marketing, land, aerial and hydrographic surveys, underwater engineering, property management, to the oil & gas sector. He sits on the board of several companies and community bodies. He is a fellow of the chartered National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, a member of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, associate member of the Certified Institute of Shipping and a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management amongst other professional bodies like the American Society of Safety Professionals [ASSP] as a professional member. As one of the six founders of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria [DGN-Nollywood]; Vwede is a Filmmaker, a Poet, a Literary Critic, Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Certified Business Advisor and Strategist.
