About the Book

After a horrific storm out at sea, young Samuel, an American boy, finds himself alone on a deserted island. With the loss of his missionary parents, he learns to survive and defend the island from a monstrous animal and Nazi German soldiers. Through rough seas, he and the holy box set sail to America, fighting off Nazis and sea ravagers, as well as the cunning temptations of a Serpent desperate to take him and the box into the underworld. With endless battles against the forces of darkness, he must maintain his religious beliefs and entrust the light that burns deep within the soul to carry on, as the journey of faith begins with the promise to defend Samuel’s Box.


About the Author

Author, Jesse H. Colbath IV is from Austin, Texas and has spent most of his life living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. He has a passion for reading great graphic novels and listening to good music. He is also a collector of intriguing artwork and is an artist himself. His hobbies include, cooking various types of foods, creative writing, playing video games, traveling, and watching sports, as well as spending time with family and friends. In his latest novel, Samuel’s Box ~ Righteous Journey, a spiritual calling to a promising world that left his heart and soul in a better place after the death of his father. His fictional characters in the novel are loosely based on his life, and the journey that led him to discover the light to his salvation. Today and forever, he remains a servant of God, His Son, and the Holy Ghost.
