My years are heading already downhill, The footprints of the past have a cold feeling. I wander through fogs with my old shoulders And with my unfulfilled overdue dreams. My poem cannot be more rhythmic than yours. Raiment of the ploughman attracts my rhythms. Your words are the beautiful play of the leopardess, And my poems rise from the moistened earth.

About the Author

Merab Giorgadze was born on January 10, 1962, in Kutaisi, Georgia. He lives a quiet, peaceful life, and he writes for himself, entrusting his spiritual pains only to writing paper and verse. This is his first collection of poems.
