This devotional book is for believers to use in their personal worship of God. It is designed to help readers grow in their spiritual life and give insight into life through the infallible word of God.

The purpose of this book is to give single truth from the Bible God teaches us through. The prayer for this book is that you learn something new in reading the devotions. There is hope that you are edified and that the scripture, devotion, and journaling brings life to your spirit. There is aspiration that what you read becomes infectious, contagious to fl ow out to all you approach, with the desire to teach another.

In this book you would find journaling available as you are spending time with God by reading different scriptures of the Bible and praying. This area is available to take notes of what his word is speaking to you.

The journaling is also available for personal moments of reflecting on the devotion presented and God’s word established.

This gives you the ability to record your thoughts for your devotional reading. In journaling you can commit to your plan by writing it down.

It is important to have devotions. Devotions take time in our day to spend with God. The devotions available are great tools to use in spending time with God. Devotional time helps to strengthen and give us a deeper relationship with God the father.

The good thing about journaling during your reading of a devotional is that journaling helps to stay on track during your devotional time of reading and studying of the scripture that is available. Another great thing about journaling is that your thoughts and prayers provide such a valuable and memorable record that you can return to in the future. Journaling encourages you when you return to re-read what you have written. It helps you evaluate the process that you made and to recognize the evidence of answered prayers.

I have found that prayer and journaling help to turn my prayer life into something strategic.

About the Author

Laurie is the mother of two children, Paris, and Nevaeh Joyner.

Laurie is a student studying simultaneously at Carolina Biblical College and at Guilford Technical Community College, she is working on 2 degrees. Laurie is a servant of Prophetic Ministry. She is a teacher, influencer, encourager, a philanthropic leader, certified mental health first aide, creates and speaks Christian spoken word, and a trustworthy friend to so many.

Laurie, who is known as a dedicated woman of God loves studying the scriptures. Laurie has been writing devotions for over the past six years. She is humbly inspired by her family and followers that read her devotions. She was encouraged by her late mother to place her divinely inspired devotions into a book, as she agreed in hopes that other readers that may not follow on her different social media platforms would become inspired as well. Laurie loves to spread the gospel and engaging with “Heaven on Earth”.

Laurie’s ministry which is called “Laurie J’S Corner” stands on Ephesians 3:10-12.

Laurie is a known praiser, worshipper and intercessor. Laurie knows without a shadow of doubt that God is real since he has never failed her and has been constantly proving himself in her life. Laurie’s word of truth in her life of Christ is “Immanuel”.
