About the Book

JuanJuan is a Maltese/Toy poodle dog, living in the big city, whose name means “curly” in Chinese. JuanJuan lives with Liu XiaoYao, whose name means “relaxed.” In JuanJuan and Family, JuanJuan describes how families may look different, but the most important quality in a family is love. In Playtime with JuanJuan, JuanJuan is bullied by the neighborhood children. JuanJuan tries to resolve the problem in several ways, but most important is the love and support she gets from her family, Liu XiaoYao. Whether focusing on children’s prosocial behaviors, or for learning Chinese or English, JuanJuan is cute, relatable, and fun for all ages. 卷卷是一条生活在大城市的马尔济斯贵宾犬，名字取自中文“卷毛”的意思。刘逍遥取自中文逍遥自得之意，卷卷和他一起生活。在《卷卷和家庭》中，卷卷描述了每个家庭看起来如何不一样，并认为其中最重要的特质是爱。在《卷卷的玩耍时光》中，卷卷被邻居的孩子们霸凌。卷卷尝试了很多解决这个问题的办法，但对它来说更重要的是来自家庭成员刘逍遥的爱与支持。无论是从双语学习还是专注于儿童亲社会行为的角度来说，卷卷系列图书对所有年龄段都是可爱、有趣并值得信赖的。

About the Author

Lynette Frantzen has a PhD Psychology and over 15 years in the mental health field. She, her husband, and 4 children have traveled and worked around the world in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Her work with diverse populations has perpetuated her belief in the universal importance of encouraging prosocial behaviors from childhood for the development of happy, healthy societies. Lynette Frantzen是一位在心理健康、精神健康领域拥有超过十五年经验的心理学博士。她和丈夫带着四个孩子曾在美洲、亚洲、欧洲中许多地区旅行并工作。她长期与不同的人群合作使她坚信，从幼时就鼓励亲社会行为对于发展幸福和健康的社会至关重要。
