Fate, Faith & a Feral Feline is a young adult/adult story that interlaces the synchronicities of life with an adored kitten. This true story is a testament of the power of love, separation, and unification. The book is comprised of letters and reflections to translate to any one person going through seasons of transition in life. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak; Ecclesiastes 3:1-7 But most of all, a time to love.

About the Author

Brooke Elizabeth Bernard is the author behind “Fate, Faith & a Feral Feline.” (ig: @Brooke_Bernard) She is a Middle School Teacher with deep Nevadan roots. Brooke earned her Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Nevada, Reno. Her inspiration came for this book by rising with the sun, coffee in hand and running miles on the trail. Time spent playing the piano provided the imagery for the written words. She values faith, wellness & connection…leaning into twists of adventure, laughter & fun. She is a passionate life-long learner, ambitious and embraces new experiences. Brooke believes in the magic of life & is confident that choosing love will always bring your heart’s desire.
