Where the Road May Lead

Life has pretty well taught me that if anything can go wrong, it probably will, so I have learned to stay positive, yet be constantly aware of other possibilities. One of the hardest hurdles someone with life-altering experiences has to face is learning to cope, but by learning some simple techniques we can not only survive the ordeal, we can help others overcome theirs. I grew up with the stigmas of being clumsy, not applying myself, and being strong-willed which led to low self-esteem and psychological bruising. At age 40, I suddenly discovered I had two birth defects that caused all my past issues, but led to more challenges than I was prepared for. Surgery was suppose to resolve my problems, but I ended up with more problems than before. It is my hope that this book can help people make better decisions, and avoid further damage. Become aware of people around you that appear to be fine, when in reality, all disabilities are not detectable by sight. Do what you can to brighten up someone's day, even if it's nothing more than a smile or a wave. We are living in a world of high-stress, turmoil and challenges and we all need an escape from time-to-time to regroup. Hopefully you will find it here.
