About the Book
It would only make sense that my first book of poems would be about love. When I started this collection I had no intention of showing anyone these poems. Even him. Well, with a few exceptions. This is a story about destiny & wish fulfillment in the most unexpected ways. The magic that finds you without searching because it was meant for you all along. This is not a typical love story, this is one that pushes you to look into the mirror image of yourself & see the light & dark. This is a story about awakening, about death, rebirth, & healing. The yearning is only human nature. & it makes for a good poem. I speak about spiritual shifts & how I align myself with my divine purpose. True love will force you to become your truest self because it deserves nothing but the best from you. I hope this collection inspires you to romanticize your life, to look at your story through the lens of divine love. I hope you find yourself more aware of the signs & little hints the universe leaves you along your path. I hope you find that you trust yourself a little more.
About the Author
Effie M. Kalaitzidis was born in Chicago & raised in the northern suburbs of the city. Writing poems since the young age of 8 years old, she always aspired to someday publish her work. The effects of COVID-19 resulted in her losing her job as a professional make up artist & finding her life's true purpose. Through her spiritual journey she overcame blocks & self-limiting beliefs that held her back from pursuing her soul's desire. Spreading messages of light & love & helping others through their own spiritual discovery became her soul mission. While undergoing this personal transformation Effie began to share her unique talent of tarot divination on social media. Kalaitzidis became an overnight success on the popular social media platform Tik Tok where her tarot readings have reached over three million viewers. This exposure launched her tarot reading business EMK Tarot. Kalaitzidis lives & works in Chicago as an intuitive tarot reader & writes poetry in her free time.
