About the Book

This book is a collection of stories encompassing the ups and downs I have faced in this walk called life. God has shown me how He has been guiding me all along, leading me to have a deeper faith in Him in all that I do and encounter. God’s Word and love has given me the hope and encouragement I have needed. I know that He is always with me especially when I may not realize it at the time. The stories in this book display the steppingstones I have crossed and how God has led me through good, bad, sad and even funny times. He leads me to the next steppingstone I must cross. My Grandfather Reverend Elmer West gave me the gift of Psalm 1 in 1999. Since then I have learned how much grander God’s plans are verses my own… I will not wither. I hope my book will give you inspiration, deepen your faith, and maybe even give you a laugh or two as you let God guide you through your own journey of steppingstones.

About the Author

When Roxanne’s preacher husband Tony asked her to finish one of his short devotionals for a church bulletin in January 2018, little did she know that her career in writing was beginning. Her stories quickly became a weekly source of joy and people were telling her, “You should put these in a book!” Roxanne has overcome many ups and downs in life, is the mother to four beautiful blessings, Carrie, Jennifer, Savannah and Daniel, a bonus foreign exchange mom to a beautiful Italian ‘daughter’ Margherita Pani, bonus daughter Jennifer Johnson-Choate and is the grandmother to Olivia, Aaron, Ashlynn and Brent. The gift of Psalm 1 given to her in 1999 from her wise and loving Grandfather, Reverend Elmer West has been a blessing fully understood after hurdling a bump in the road in 2012 that eventually led her to study theology at Bethany Seminary in Richmond, Indiana. She hopes you will be blessed by the writings in her first book.
