About the Book

Playing with Cancer at Age 13 is an autobiographical account of how the author journeyed through her experience with Cancer. From even before the time she was born, to her school memories both in India and the U.S, and to bouncing back strong from battling cancer, Aditi intends to share her memoirs with her well-wishers and with those who are willing to take a look at a different life story. The book will feature details from her childhood, expressing her gratitude to the special people she encountered who helped her grow in life.

About the Author

Aditi, born in 2000, is an undergraduate student at George Mason University, Fairfax. Continuing with life’s journey, she has experienced a loving father, the death of her mother, cancer at age 13, and a tremendous positive change in outlook on life – due to meditation, mindful living practices and social support system. Her hobbies include chess, dance, discussions on spiritual life and meditation methods, learning languages, and engaging in healthy conversations for self empowerment and handling stress. She believes we are all going through our own different paths in life, yet are full of innate virtues of love, peace, and joy. If we practice sharing and amplifying these values, we can overcome anything and make our surroundings better, happier places to live.
