About the Book

The author has a simple way of presenting materials to the audience in a manner that facilitates their learning to apply the materials in a useful way. This text is required to improve the math-reading skills of sixth-grade students. It is a student-friendly explanatory text and provides comprehensive and holistic curriculum coverage for all sixth graders, which include practical activities and sample work to engage students’ math skills. The text develops the basic operational skills in mathematics to help students cope with present-day challenges of society.

About the Author

S Pee N. Vululleh, EdD, has several years of educational experience—teaching, developing educational material resources, and administering educational institutions. You may commonly call him Prof/Dr. S Pee. He serves as Director of Education, Research & Assessment for TechPros Initiatives, Inc., and a teacher (substitute) at Rainier Valley Leadership Academy, Seattle, Washington. He served as director at the Bureau of Teacher Education at the Ministry of Education for many years and provided professional training for school administrators. He also served as assistant superintendent for Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) and made employment and staff benefits decisions. S Pee participated in developing the Professional Standards for Teachers in Liberia and revision of the National School Curriculum. Prior to these services, he served as station superintendent and principal of Ganta United Methodist Mission, where he provided support to reestablish the vocational program at the school. He also taught at the University of Liberia Graduate Program in Education and United Methodist University for several years. S Pee is an author of Elementary Mathematics Grades 4, 5 & 6 and a coauthor of math textbooks for ninth, eighth, and seventh grades for Liberian schools, entitled Maths for Junior High for Liberia. S Pee is a person with vision and is a consultant and innovator in the field of education. His main interests include research and developing human resources and causes of learning. Dr. S Pee is a trainer and an author.
