About the Author

Sam Gaylord is a retired professional that had a long successful career working with veterans. He is a history buff, enjoying mostly military history. Sam loves his country and still tears up when he hears the National Anthem played at sporting events. He is a marine and served in Vietnam with the famed 5th Marines. His hobbies include fishing, golf and being outdoors. Sam has learned to cope with many misfortunes in his life. “The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.” -Tony Robbins
