My name is Angie and I’m a standard size, black and tan, silver-dappled, 5 year-old Dachshund. I have one blue eye and one brown eye. I live in the city of Brooklyn, NY., but that’s all about to change very soon. Mom is packing up my stuff to get me ready for the long trip far away to my new home. My mom and dad have to move and the new apartment that suits them best does not allow dogs. I guess they do allow gold fish and birds. Like what’s that about?

This is the story of Angie, the brave little Dachshund who unexpectedly finds herself being sent to live with relatives in another state. Angie is very smart and finds a way to fit in while keeping her dignity and sense of self. Her coping skills are truly amazing and transcend to humans as well.
About the Author
She has always loved dogs and has been involved in dog rescue for several years. She currently has three rescue dogs. She writes country music and has had many songs recorded over the years. She is married and has five children and eight grandchildren.
