About the Book

Jasmine was seventeen years old when she found herself in an abusive relationship with Thomas. Jasmine stayed throughout the abuse looking for the courage to leave. Jasmine found the courage shortly after giving birth to Nikki; however, the abuse didn’t end there. Will Jasmine live to see Nikki grow up?

About the Author

Marisol Perez grew up in Laurel, MD she was the oldest of six. She currently lives in Rockville, MD with her daughter. Marisol was a victim of domestic violence herself and escaped with support of her family. Marisol has made it her life’s mission to support other victims and help raise awareness for domestic violence. Since escaping her abuser in 2009 Marisol graduated from Kaplan University in 2014. Marisol spends her free time writing, hanging out with family, and running her own company from home educating people on the uses of essential oils.
