Kat is a devoted homeschooling mom to 2 spunky kids. She lives in Northern California with her husband, children, a grumpy old cocker spaniel and a goofy great dane. Finding it difficult to find children's books that reflected her family’s lifestyle, she decided to write a book of her own.
