About the Book

These islands were discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, and because there were so many, they reminded him of St. Ursula and her eleven thousand virgins. The Virgin Islands are some of the most beautiful islands in the West Indies. The British Virgin Islands is known as the yachting capital of the world. Many people come here on vacation or on a cruise because of the beauty, the healthy climate, the friendliness of the people, and the serenity they can have when they make the place their home.

About the Author

The author was born on the beautiful island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, the 4th of 11 children. As a teacher of Geography, English, and Religion, this writer fell in love with writing at a young age. He has penned many poems and songs that speak about his boyhood days, his beloved island country and his spiritual beliefs. He is the proud father of 2 adult children and 1 grandson.
