About the Book

Dangerous Times is about four friends bound for Australia, having secured employment in Australia before World War II. Their contract is for three years, after which they will be free agents. The girls long to break free from tradition and to find their own way in life. Some find love right away, while others find themselves floundering and living on a knife-edge. Will they find the true romance they are all looking for? This is their story.

About the Author

Although born in Australia, C. B. Dellhurst has spent most of her life in England. After the return of her parents after World War II, her brother eventually returned to Australia and now lives in Perth, Western Australia. The two have always stayed in touch on a regular basis, and modern technology has made doing so much easier. Dellhurst travels to Australia as often as she can, and her brother visits England often as well. Although Dellhurst lives in England, her heart will always be in Australia.
