Through the Reign of Rain book of poetry spans a length of time in which the author faced the hardest time of her life. Her daughter's suicide and subsequent divorce from the authors husband.


About the Author

Rosemarie Druch is a professional writer, most especially poetry, songwriter, and visual artist. She is also a musician — most especially, piano — some guitar and keyboard. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA., where she studied and still resides. She wrote for and was on the editorial board of her high school literary magazine. She studied creative writing in high school all 4 years and majored in English Literature at Temple University, Main Campus, Philadelphia, PA. She married Ludwig Druch, whom she met at Temple and had two children — Leon and Eva Marie. Her daughter committed suicide in 1985 and she is currently divorced. Her book of poetry ‘Seasons in Shadow’ is dedicated to her daughter and other deaths of young people. She protested the Vietnam War from the beginning and is still an activist, belonging to SPLC and ACLU, to name a few. She is on the civil rights wall in Alabama. She participated in an anti-drug Rock & Roll concert for young people, sponsored by the Frankford group ministry for which she had recorded poetry readings and had art shows. She published in world of poetry anthologies too, as well as the 1st Philadelphia Poetry Anthology. She worked with children all her life and was formerly a substitute day care teacher with Jewish Federation in Northeast Philadelphia, PA. A former member of Davinci Art Alliance and Fleisher Art Memorial, she is now a member of Association for Public Arts and the Free Library of Philadelphia. She’d written/published five books of poetry and art, this is her 6th. She’d recorded three songs by Rainbow and Hilltop Records. She had 18 one person art shows and 10 group shows and did illustrations for another poets’ first Chapbook.....And is continuing with all her works.
