About the Book

This book was started out of a lively exchange among our AquaYouth WhatsApp group that began October 1, 2015, and culminated in an introspective look at a variety of interdependent human connections.

About the Author

I am a man who has always defined myself by the reflections of my soul. When my spirits were high, I could conquer the world. When my spirits were low, I found myself reaching into my ancestral pool, looking for the wisdom of Agatha, Beatrice, Ernest, Sydney, Florence Evadney, neighbors and complete strangers to provide the tenacity not only to stay afloat but to guide my path and refocus my steps. I can be hard, unforgiving, black and white, and judgmental. Yet, I realize that these are momentary character bumps; they are not my defining characteristics. I am a descendant of queens. I am a prince becoming a king, and my greatest desires and goals are to provide a safe and better world for all within my fold.
