About the Book

This book is about an 8 ½-year-old girl named Abbie. She is a sweet, mischievous, loving, and playful girl. Her imagination is large and so is her heart. Abbie wants people to be more accepting of others. Abbie has two moms, a boy as a best friend, and a friend who is in a wheelchair, and she is a part of a blended family. She loves to play outdoors, read books, climb trees, and shoot squirt guns. Abbie often gets in trouble with her teacher and her mom but never with her grandma. There are lessons learned along the way. Abbie’s tales are stories that will make you laugh, think, and imagine.

About the Author

Evie Jo Larrimore grew up a tomboy. She wrote this book to inspire girls and boys to play and to read. She has a Master’s Degree in Education. Evie taught Physical Education for 30 years in North Carolina Public Schools. She loves playing, reading, and helping other people learn new things. She has written an introductory Golf book and is currently writing more Abbie Tales and a Romance Novel. She is excited about sharing her imagination with you.
