H. Bird was the youngest of five children. Her life was a constant struggle from poverty to abuse and the eventual diagnosis of a disease that would take her life. Her childlike spirit and appreciation of the simple things in life carried her through and inspired many. May her story also be an inspiration to others.

H Bird was an inspiration to all who met her. She was the glue that held her family together and she is sorely missed. Her positive attitude, joy of life and infectious smile hid her struggles from everyone but those who knew her most. Her last wish was to have her story shared with the world and to be able to, finally, release her secret. This is her first novel and also her legacy.
