About the Book

Quin McMen has always pictured zombies a certain way—with bloodshot eyes and toxic green skin covered in bubbly boils that come from within. But Quin begins to realize the similarities between zombies and the people in his small town. Can they be saved? This book ranges from simple to more complex lesson variations, from developing language skills through phonological awareness demonstrated through rhyming words and acquiring new vocabulary to in-depth comprehension and comparisons. About the Author

One semester in college I took a children’s literature class as a part of my studies to become a teacher. In that semester I realized how impactful children’s literature was in my life growing up, even though I struggled with dyslexia. Despite my disability the ideas and lessons portrayed in these books my mother read to me, touched my heart and stayed with me. Today I hope to share my own ideas and lesson I have learned throughout the years with the next generation.
