The Flashlight

About the Book

A group of children finds an abandoned house. They go inside to explore, go upstairs and find a large trunk, open it up, and find documents and a flashlight. They turn it on. They realize it’s not just another flashlight. They go through the portal, search for the inventor, find him, return the flashlight, and come home.

About the Author

The author is an artist/illustrator who attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York, received a BFA in illustration, attended Pratt Phoenix School of Design in Manhattan, New York, and received an AOS in illustration. The author recently became a teaching assistant employed at Manhattan Star Academy, a school for autistic children. As a teaching assistant, he assists the head teacher and, at the same time, uses his artistic talents to help the children be more creative and independent.
