About the Book
This book contains real characters and stories about the ghost that lurks the halls of St. Rose School. There are also fictional additions that make the stories more interesting. It is up to the reader to decide what is real and what is make-believe.
About the Author
Patty Cornell and Joann Benzinger are sisters and were mischievous children. They grew up in a rural community based on dairy farming and crop production much like St. Rose Illinois. Patty became a teacher and went on to become an administrator with a PhD in Educational Leadership. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed working with children and seeing life from their viewpoint. Joann’s love of the fine arts helped her become a photographer. She and her husband own an electrical company and because of this, she has a major focus on architectural photography. Along with that, her emphasis is nature and the beautiful world around us. Illustrator Mackenzie Munie is a student at McKendree University in Illinois. She discovered her talent in drawing and painting during high school. She continues to pursue the arts in college. She attended St Rose School and has brought a realistic imagery to the illustrations.
