About the Author

Amanda Stone lives in Tulsa with her husband, Patrick, and daughter, Sawyer. Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and raised in rural Stilwell, Amanda earned a degree in business from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Several years after graduating and a career in retail, Amanda found her way to Tulsa. There, she opened a ladies’ boutique, met and married her husband, and had a daughter. Mirroring her daily life and by telling the story of her own daughter’s birth, this first book also tells the story of a beloved family pet, the original cat extraordinare, Scarlett.
