About the Book

This masterful collection of poems represents over thirty years of work by the author, Ross Edward Percifield II, guided by the Force that compels him to write, the Lord Jesus Christ. About the Author

Ross Edward Percifield II is a world traveler, having grown up in a military family. Ross himself served in the United States Air Force. He gives his wide experiences credit for his well-rounded world view and his compassion for his fellow man, which are demonstrated throughout this book of his poetry. In high school and college, he played football and threw the javelin, in which he excelled, as he did in his studies, earning a degree in English and studying various other subjects including five foreign languages (Arabic, Russian, French, German, and Spanish). His one true passion is writing, which he has been doing his whole life; his earliest poem in this collection dates back to 1966, composed during his teen years. While he has published several poems individually in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain, this is his first collection of poems.
