About the Author

Joseph Pollakoff is predicted to be one of the fastest emerging authors and artists of the twenty-first century. He began in career in 2008 and was recognized by the Sojourner Truth Museum in 2009 for his writings and paintings about African-American and African History, where he has works permanently displayed and currently works as their resident artist, historian and curator. He has written and painted for Maya Angelou as well as other renown celebrities. He is also involved in social work and assisting displaced children worldwide. Joseph has three children. Of the three children, two children were adopted, one child with developmental disabilities and another child with severe emotionally challenges. He currently lives in Elk Grove, California where he now raises rescued dogs. The National Academic Youth Corps, Inc. and the Sojourner Truth Museum endorsement for Joseph Pollakoff. Joe Pollakoff has truly proven himself as a great author and artist in the African tale of enchanted toy. The story is one all children will love.
