About the Author
DEIRK L. KEITT SR. was born December 16,1959 to a single mother of 4. Because of their economic situation he often heard his mother say they barely had enough money to take care of their basic needs. So he learned early, don’t ask for money, instead, ask for work. He would ask business people in his community to employ him. Most of the time he was be too young for the job, but he would convince them of the benefits in hiring and training him (if he needed training), even if it was temporary. Usually he’d get hired. Little did he know he was developing a skill that is needed by 90% of the world population. That skills is, how to job search, how to make employers like you, and get employed. Later in life Deirk found himself in a government sponsored job search program. He absorbed everything he learn about job search. In three months he was hired and trained to teach job search workshops by the same company. Deirk studied job search, interviewed job developers/recruiters, HR Personnel’s, and job seekers. Eventually he became a Job Coach/Counsellor. He has spent a total of 16 years in this industry growing, teaching, coaching, and helping people reach their employment goal.
