About the Book
It is just a few days before Easter and Grandma needs her three noisy chickens to lay lots of eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt that she holds in her garden every year at this time. She is both cross and sad when, each day that she goes to the pen, she sees there are no eggs for her to collect. “Oh dear!” she sighed, “There are no eggs today. “I need lots of eggs by Sunday,” ….. “Because it’s Easter Day and you all know that we do something very special every year to celebrate.” When Easter Day arrives there are still no eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt and all the children are disappointed …..Until, that is, they go into the garden and get a much unexpected surprise!
About the Author
The author has taught at primary school level including children with special educational needs for over thirty years. She specialises in the teaching of English and Drama and has written and produced plays for both adults and children, most of which have been performed to the public. Following her first two books, ‘Three Noisy Chickens’, and ‘Three Noisy Chickens to the Rescue’, this is her third book of the series to be published. She lives with her husband Alan, who has produced the illustrations for the entire series.
