About the Author

Louise Ziminsky is the mother of three grown children and six grandchildren. She always read to them as they were growing up and also had the interest and desire to write a book for children. Ziminsky enjoyed reading children’s books aloud to her grandchildren whenever they visited. When she could recite the books from memory, she decided that she and her grandchildren would make up their own stories. That’s how Maggie was created. Through the Maggie series, Ziminsky wants to make her stories real in other children’s lives. Currently living in Poway, California, in San Diego County, Ziminsky has been a realtor for thirty years. She also is a manager of a MLM company called Send Out Cards. Through her writing, Ziminsky brought Maggie to life, and she knew this was where she should start. The author hopes all children and grownups who read the Maggie series will enjoy her as much as the author does.
