About the Book
The practical Creole-English conversation, complemented with other languages, is part of Bèl Kontwòl Kreyòl series, which includes Creole grammars and dictionaries. These books, in Creole, English, Spanish, and French, although focused principally on the Haitian Creole, are definitely for everyone in any field of knowledge, in particular for the polyglots, the philologists, the teachers, the students, and for anyone who wants to learn, improve, or compare his/her own languages.
About the Author
The author is a native of Haiti, where Creole and French are official languages. That means he manages both of them, including the social, cultural, and pragmatic aspects. Besides, he lives and studies in Puerto Rico and in Florida, where Spanish and English are spoken. He taught French and Creole in Haiti, in Puerto Rico, and in Florida. He made his primary, elementary, and high schools studies in Haiti, while the bachelor and master degrees were made in Puerto Rico. His master of arts was realized in education with concentration in instructional design and technology of education. The emphasis has been placed on learning and teaching processes, linguistics, design, and implementation of instructional materials as well as on models and strategies of teaching. His bachelor degree was in management and accounting.
