About the Book

“The Adventures of Celtic: Going for the Gold” probably is the most lighthearted book of the five-part series. Celtic makes a trip to the vet and is told he needs to get in shape. His brothers then devise an extensive exercise program, consisting of running, biking, and swimming. In no time, the young terrier finds himself in the best shape of his life. He also realizes he has the skills to compete in a local doggy triathlon. Follow Celtic every step of the way as he goes for the gold.

About the Author

Todd Hveem is an award-winning journalist who has written everything from the NFL playoffs, to Little League baseball, to school board meetings and, finally, a five-part “Adventures of Celtic” series. He loves sports. He played football, basketball, and golf in high school and earned a football scholarship to play in college. He also loves animals. When the family decided to get a dog in 2009, he immediately fell in love with Celtic and tried to figure exactly what the young Welsh terrier was thinking. Thus, the Adventures of Celtic Series was born. Hveem was stricken with pancreatic cancer in April of 2012. He now takes life day-by-day and appreciates all the love and support he receives from family, friends, and Celtic.
