Craig began getting nervous, this was not something he'd ever done. He wanted this hot man, needed the sex, but here, out in the open? That wasn't his style. He stopped then started heading back to the resort when Mike grabbed his wrist roughly. "What's the matter? Don't you want this?" he pressed Craig's hand onto his engorged shaft. "Okay, but let's make this quick. I don't feel comfortable doing this here." Mike reached out and grabbed him by the back of his neck and pulled him in for a hot, passionate kiss. While the kiss continued, Mike released Craig's hand and groped him hard, causing Craig to wince. "Hey! Take it easy." Without responding, Mike unzipped and unbuckled Craig's jeans and roughly pulled them down. Craig's erection stood forward and Mike was on it in seconds. As he stood, knees shaking, Craig pulled Mike's head deeper onto his shaft, rotating his hips as he did. After a while, Mike stood and slid his own jeans to his ankles. Craig dropped to his knees, manipulating himself as he pleasured this hot, sexy man; his apprehensions about sex in the open having been long forgotten. Feeling his own climax nearing, Craig stood and pressed his overheated mouth onto Mike's. Soon they were both moaning as their climaxes neared. When his breathing and heart rate returned to normal, Craig reached down and pulled up his jeans; once dressed he looked over to Mike who was just zipping up his pants. "Man, Mike that was great. Thanks." Mike grinned, but somehow Craig felt a twinge of nervousness when he again looked into his face. He started walking away, but turned when he heard his name being called. Thinking he'd dropped something, he turned. "Yeah?" All he saw was the flash of a metal blade; it was the last thing Craig would ever see. Wiping his prints from the handle of the blade, the blood on the damp grass, Mike casually tossed it over the fence separating the woods from Raven Hall, knowing the undergrowth would quickly cover it up forever. He grinned widely as he made his way back to the resort.

About the Book
In Raven's Blood, the main character,Bret Anders, chooses to get away to revitalize himself after a painful breakup. He makes plans to spend Memorial Day weekend at Raven Hall, a gay resort just west of New Hope Pennsylvania. On his first night at the resort he meets Anthony D'Angelo, a handsome, sexy man and the attraction is immediate. That night as Anthony walks Bret to his room, the body of a murdered staff member is discovered near Brett's room. Brett sees someone leaving the area, but can't make out what the individual looks like. The killer, however is able to see Brett clearly under the overhead light over the room door and Brett becomes a target of the man's dark, twisted mind. Within 24 hours, the body of a guest is found in the parking lot of a nearby strip mall, adding to the already tense atmosphere of the resort. While being interviewed by the detective, Brett relates what he saw and the detective, in addition to searching for the killer, now knows he has to protect Brett. As the complex plot evolves, a possible suspect is identified and pursued, but he himself almost becomes a victim and helps in leading the detective to the real killer. Will Brett survive? Will he and Anthony remain together? Will the killer be found and arrested? Raven's Blood explores a significant experience in the life of a man who takes a chance and leaves his comfort zone to find himself thrust into a web of revenge and murder.
About the Author
G. Burgess began his writing career as a poet. His work in this genre won him several awards. He then began studying novel writing under mystery author Jane Waterhouse and then under Eileen Evens. He continues to enhance and improve his writing by attending seminars and workshops. He also has a consultant in the police department in Freehold, NJ where he lives. He uses the internet frequently to check for accuracy in his stories. He also continues to read extensively on crime and investigation, focusing on serial, or pattern killers. Raven's Blood is his third novel G. Burgess is a retired elementary school teacher. He spent nearly 40 years in front of a classroom of eager and willing students in Edison, NJ.
