Emelee heard the dragging footsteps on her carpeted flooring coming closer and closer to the foot of her bed. The presence stopped and lingered there for a moment although it seemed and felt to Emelee as though it had been hours just lingering and staring at her in the darkness. She heard thump, thump, thump, thump, and thought that the thumps were coming from the Invisible Night Stalker as she had decided to name it, but after a while realized the thumps were her own heartbeats. Meanwhile, the Invisible Night Stalker moved from the foot of the bed to the side of the bed opposite the side Emelee was laying. It got nearer, nearer and nearer with every movement and with every dragging footstep she heard, she tried to see what it was dragging itself very slowly next to her bed. Whereas, she could not see what it was she sensed it was huge.

About the Book
Since a growth spurt has occurred, Emelee is now at an age where imagination has become reality and fact, but not without exposure to terror and horror.
About the Author
Working in the Alachua County School System of Florida for the past 20 years with children and also having given birth to two children who are now adults with children of their own was a perfect scenario that prompted writing to appeal to children's intellect. Being an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Para Professional in the classroom gives privy to observe and listen to children stories and watch behaviors. As a child growing up supernatural experiences very often occurred and they were always frightening, but thank God, talking with mother about them was calming because she would always listen and try to resolve the concerns, so that I would have a pleasant day and night's rest. It is in essence that parents, grandparents, godparents, guardians, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. To listen to their children when they say to them they hear or see things that goes bump or boo in the night. Just listen!
