Mystery Picnic on Stone Mountain Spend a relaxing afternoon—or is it?—with Mom, Dad, Michael, and Olivia at the Picnic Spot on Stone Mountain. All is lazy and peaceful until a farmer shows up and reveals a huge mystery. There are some strange disappearances occurring on the mountain. Something or someone is stealing his chicken eggs and his wife’s jewelry and he can’t figure out who is it. Michael tries to convince Olivia to see if they can solve the mystery. Is she brave enough to follow him? Will they solve the mystery or will they be frightened away by what they are about to encounter? What they find surprises and startles them, their parents, and the farmer. It’s an experience they won’t soon forget.

About the Author

Renate A. Moore is an established, published children’s book author and writer. This is her second book. Her first book “ A Frog In Grandma’s Cup” is another of her fascinating writings that encourages children to read. Renate has a passion for reading and writing and she advocates literacy. She supports many educational organizations and attend workshops to encourage reading and raise literacy awareness. She is a huge animal lover and supports many animal shelters and fund-raisers. Renate has always enjoyed her career in the corporate world, but feels more satisfied and accomplished with pursuing her passion for writing children’s books which she hopes will encourage children to read more and overcome illiteracy. Along with her Author/Writer career she is the Founder and CEO of LadyRen’s Nook, Tastee Treats & Children’s Books. Renate obtained her writing diploma from the Institute of Children’s Literature. She resides in North Carolina with her husband, children and cats. When not reading or writing, she enjoys gardening and baking. She continues to write children’s stories.
