About the Book

The recipes in this book are unusual and original. If you look for any recipe that would even come remotely close you would be out of luck. I have loved these recipes since I was a child. Some of the recipes are ones that I created out of neccessity. This neccessity was because I either had no money for food or that was all that I had on hand.

About the Author

I have wanted to write this cookbook for many years to preserve the recipes that my grandmother’s and my mother have handed down to me and my sister. I am sort of the family historian of these recipes. A few of them are originals that I have created out of necessity. These recipes are near and dear to me because they come from the three women in my life that I love. They have gone to be with God and I know that they are in a “Happy” place. I am hopeful that they would be proud of me in this endevour to complete this cookbook. I live in Michigan. I was born in Detroit. I live in Warren and have lived here for 43 years. I live with my Shih tzu, Andy, He is my best buddy. He is a rescue that has recued me right back.
