After we gather the eggs and are leaving the chicken coop, one of the roosters starts chasing me. I try to run as fast as I can to get away, but he is fast. I fall to the ground, and kick my legs as fast as I can. The rooster runs away. That was a close call. Grandpa helps me up, but now I’m all dirty.

I have been a military wife now for over 10 years and have been blessed to travel and see many places in the world but some of my favorite memories are growing up on my grandpa's farm. The inspiration for this book is to share some of those childhood memories with others and especially my daughter Olivia Grace.
