About the Author
My name is Emebet Mesfin. I am a forty year old Ethiopian woman. My parents are from two different cultures. My mother is from Wadjitu in Central Shewa and speaks Oromigna. My father is from Gamo Gofa in the South and speaks Dorzigna. This first work is all about my father's culture. I would like to share stories from Dorze Hayzo. Writing has become like a second nature to me. I have been keeping regular journals for the last twenty five years. This coupled up with the pleasure I derive from reading story books I read for the kindergarten kids I had taught for the last thirteen years, decided me to be a writer. There will be more story books for children of the world especially for my nephews and niece I hope to publish after this one.
